The Star XVII

From out of the muck we are looking up! The Star is the shining beacon of hope that lights the way through the darkness and cuts through the night. From the darkness of the Tower’s chaos, we are followed by the Star leading us forward on our journey. The catfish is a hearty, murky water dwelling creature who finds life and opportunity in the darkness. Fire flies light up the night sky in a scattered twinkling magical spectacle. Fattening up on twinkling delicious little morsels of life, the catfish sees and fills its belly with glowing opportunities, making meals of light. With glowing bodies, fireflies light up, trying to attract a mate in the warm swampy night air. In their dance they fill us with wonder. Their presence represents hope. They are glowing sparkles of dreams and opportunities that inspire us to use our imagination for something bigger.

The Star’s zodiac patron is Aquarius. Filling and pouring jugs into pools of light that reflect the heavens, Aquarius is the water bearer of mental nourishment. Aquarius being an air sign deals with the realm of the mind, yet it holds water, and speaks to the softer more emotional side of our mind, providing the quenching waters of hopes and dreams. Water is the blood that sustains all life on earth and is the symbolic medicine Aquarius provides for the mind. This elemental cooling balm is the healing energy required to pull ourselves out of the darkness and move forward, courageous on our journey. Like the water bearer, we can pull from the well of hope and carry it with us, soothing our mind within this journey, and acknowledging the responsibility of our life force. We can carry this powerful life force with us and can provide this nourishing water to others too to help strengthen and inspire them. Do not forget, we are made of stars and like stars we sparkle. Will you choose to illuminate or fizzle out?

Just like the stars in the sky, the weather of our mind does much to determine how much we see the light of these little miracles. When the sky is clear, the stars can be seen and illuminate hope. Likewise the storms and clouds of our mind can also cover this shining beacon and blanket us in despair. It is important to try and clear through the mental fog that clouds our minds and keeps us down and hopeless. Remember, even if you can’t see the stars right now, they are there, twinkling behind the screen of stormy weather thoughts. It is important to work to clear the fog that limits your viewpoint and horizons. Do what you can to address your mental health and whatever harmful thoughts might cloud your perception. Be an advocate for the synchronicities in your life. Things will flow if you let them flow. Don’t force it. You’re on the right path, just flow where you need to be, like water. You can carve your own path and find ways around the obstacles that stand in your way. You will attract what you put out. Your mindset will shape your ability to see and embrace the opportunities and blessings that surround you in this world. Life is a blessing, not a curse. While suffering is a necessary part of this experience, giving life perspective and value, the Star is the powerful essence of life’s special magic and wonder, presenting itself as a glowing beacon of energy. It is the hermit’s lantern. It is our soul's glow.

What inspires you? What dreams do you aspire to? How would you like things to be? What wishes do you hope to manifest? What do you have to be hopeful about? What needs encouragement in your life?
